The Indonesian-German Economic Association (EKONID) acts as a strategic interface between the German and Indonesian economies. We represent the bilateral business interests of our members who are companies in Indonesia and Germany, which further provide a platform for international knowledge transfer. Our core business is to support our members from both countries in the pursuit of new trade and investment opportunities.
In addition to our services, which are needed to effectively support EKONID members in entering markets or expanding their business in Indonesia, EKONID in Jakarta also functions as a meeting point and information center and is the first to receive inquiries from companies interested in operating in Indonesia. Working under the DEinternational AHK brand throughout the world, which ensures uniformity of service throughout the world, EKONID offers excellent advice. Our services range from market information to specialized consulting services to enter the market, search for business partners, legal information and corporate services, tax services, personal services, and exhibitions.
EKONID was also represented in Surabaya through Wisma Germany, a unique collaboration between the Goethe-Institut Jakarta and us, with the support of the German embassy in Jakarta. Thus, through various events and also by providing a portfolio of EKONID services, Wisma Germany is an important pillar in the overall EKONID network.
