Don Bosco Tech ASEAN Thailand and Timor-Leste Benchmarking and Memorandum of Understanding Signing Acitivity

In the emerging time of Technical Vocational Institutions in the aftermath of the pandemic, Don Bosco Tech ASEAN continues to strengthen its external relations and quality assurance in its network. The network successfully concluded its benchmarking activity to compare the standards and performance with technical vocational education and training in the region, in the different fields of the TVET program. It allows the participating training centers from Timor–Leste and Laos to monitor their relative performance, identify gaps, seek fresh approaches to bring about improvements, set goals, establish priorities for change and resource allocation, and follow through with change processes based on empirical evidence. The network sees benchmarking as an appropriate tool for the process of quality improvement, through which different countries’ TVET centers are able to share best practices.
