Don Bosco Tech ASEAN Annual Meeting 2025

The DB Tech ASEAN Annual Meeting 2025 was held from April 1 to 3 at Don Bosco Vitthaya School in Udon Thani, Thailand. Facilitated by Mr. Mark Carlos Tito G. Gumapon, the meeting brought together network members to plan for the future as the organization transitions to Don Bosco One TVET Philippines, Inc.. Discussions focused on the closure of the central office, sustaining regional collaboration, and improving online visibility through website and social media platforms.
Members shared key updates from their countries. The Philippines reported progress in green tech programs and curriculum innovation. Cambodia presented a job satisfaction survey showing positive trends in staff development, while Thailand showcased its new mechatronics and robotics workshop designed to prepare students for Industry 4.0.
The group also tackled ongoing challenges such as political unrest in Indonesia and the need to create safer, more inclusive spaces to increase female participation in TVET. A new approach called the Capacity Works Framework was introduced to support better collaboration and learning. The meeting closed with a renewed commitment to sustainability, innovation, and working together to strengthen technical and vocational education across Southeast Asia.
